COVID-19’s Impact on CACCashiers Schedule

Paul writes in Ephesians 2:14: “For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility…”

Short Term Schedule Changes

  • The vestry has agreed to suspend Sunday worship services, Christian Formation (Sunday School), and MEBS (Monday Evening Bible Study) until it is deemed safe to resume.
  • There will be no 3rd Thursday Healing & Worship service until at least April 16th.
  • However, because of room and opportunity for appropriate social distancing, our regularly scheduled Thursday Intercessory Prayer Hour (10:00 a.m. each week) will continue. You are encouraged to join us during this time when prayer is perhaps needed more than ever!
  • Please continue to check back here for updates as the COVID-19 situation develops.

Sunday Worship Live Stream

  • Please follow this link to view Holy Cross Anglican Cathedral live stream worship service, currently scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Sunday mornings.

Holy Communion Available at CAC

  • On Sunday morning, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Holy Communion will be available at the church. We will also have Palms available this week (April 5th) for Palm Sunday. You are invited to come by after your time of personal worship at home. Rev. Murphy and his wife Sharon will be on hand to pray over and consecrated the bread and wine earlier in the morning. The host (bread only) will be placed in zip-loc bags for extra-sanitary distribution and reception. Please come by the church parking lot, drive up to the curb, and roll down your window. The bread will be delivered to you, Rev. Murphy will recite the Lord’s prayer with you, and you can be on your way. Please check back later this week for details on Easter Sunday plans.
